A clearer plan before you spend.

Heating costs, an older property or a planned upgrade? A review helps you understand the options and decide what to tackle first.

The scope, written report and fee are agreed before you book.

When a review can help

Start with the questions that matter to you.

Your home

Make sense of an existing EPC, investigate high energy use or plan improvements with the construction of your home in mind.

Your business

Review how the premises are heated, lit and used, and identify practical opportunities to manage consumption and running costs.

Your church or community building

Find sensible improvements for a building used at different times through the week, with clear priorities for trustees and committees.

What the review covers.

The assessment is tailored to your building, how you use it and the decisions you need to make.

We can look at insulation and the building fabric, heating and controls, hot water, lighting and patterns of energy use. Bills and existing reports help build a fuller picture.

If you are considering solar panels, battery storage or changes to your heating, include these in your enquiry so the review can address the relevant questions.

Recommendations take account of the property’s construction. Older and traditional buildings may need a different approach to insulation and moisture management.

Your written report

Useful findings. Clear next steps.

Understand the building

An accessible explanation of the main findings, drawing on the visit and the information available.

Set your priorities

Practical recommendations, from changes to controls and day-to-day use through to improvements worth investigating.

Plan the next step

A clear summary of what to do next, including where installer quotations or further specialist assessment would help.

Where agreed and supported by the available information, the report can include indicative costs and savings. Estimates and assumptions will be explained.

Churches, chapels and community halls

Practical priorities for your community building.

A few useful details.

Is this an EPC?

An energy efficiency review focuses on your questions and improvement priorities. A new domestic EPC or commercial EPC is a separate service; if you need both, we can agree this when discussing your enquiry.

Can it support a funding application?

If a funder has asked for an energy audit or report, send their requirements before booking so we can check whether the proposed review will meet them.

How much does it cost?

Reviews are quoted individually, depending on the building, the questions you need answered and the level of analysis. You will know the fee and what is included before you book.

What should I send?

Start with the postcode, building type and your main concerns. Any existing EPC, recent energy bills, plans or funding requirements will help. Tell us what you have and we can explain what else would be useful.

Tell us what you would like to improve.

Whether you have a specific project in mind or simply want to know where to start, send a few details about your building and we can discuss a suitable review.
